Composting with Worms Workshop
held on Earth Day at Crews Lake Park
Ever think outdoor composting is more trouble than its worth but still like rich, crumbly organic matter? Then composting with worms may be for you.
If you've always wanted to learn more about how worms break down kitchen scraps without the odor or work of an outdoor pile, join Extension Director BJ Jarvis for this one-hour workshop.
You'll take home a bag of "starter" worms and all the instructions needed to start a compost pile.
There are two workshops: 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
